Privacy Policy.
What Deep-Agnt collects, why, your rights where you live, and what you can do about it. It works with the Terms of Service.
Effective October 7, 2026
Who we are
Deep-Agnt is owned and operated by Deep Machine Learning LLC, a United States company that also runs Deep-ML. This policy covers deep-agnt.com and works together with our Terms of Service. For the purposes of data protection law, Deep Machine Learning LLC is the controller of the personal data described here.
What we collect
Account. When you sign in, with Google or with an email and password, we receive your email address, your name and profile photo if your Google account has them, and an account id. Sign-in is shared with Deep-ML, so this is the same account on both sites.
Your work. The code, prompts and messages you submit, the results and traces of grading them, hints you open, the problems and project steps you solve, Heat, and how much of your monthly credit you have used.
Payments. If you buy Premium, our payment processor collects your card details; we never see or store your card number. We keep your customer id with the processor, plan, subscription status, invoices, and the billing details you choose to add (such as a name, address or tax id).
Usage and device data. Pages you visit, clicks and other interactions, your browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address, collected by our own logs and by Google Analytics.
Browser storage. Your theme, editor settings, unsaved code drafts, your harness and, if you are not signed in, which problems you have solved are kept in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device and are not sent to us unless you run or submit them.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to submit, sensitive personal information such as health, financial account, government id, or biometric data.
How we use it
To run the Service: sign you in, grade your submissions, run model calls and agent sessions, keep your progress, and meter credits.
To bill you and manage your subscription, and to apply discounts such as the Deep-ML subscriber discount.
To understand how the Service is used, fix problems, and improve problems and features.
To keep the Service fair and secure: preventing abuse of model calls, and investigating the violations described in the Terms.
To contact you about your account, payments, and important changes. We do not send marketing email without your consent.
We do not use your data for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Who processes it
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We share it only with service providers that run parts of the Service for us, under contracts that limit them to providing that service. They fall into these categories:
- authentication and database hosting
- payment processing
- AI model providers, which produce the responses for live grading, hints, agent turns and the tutor
- sandboxed code execution, which runs and grades submitted code
- application hosting
- email delivery
- analytics (Google Analytics)
Each provider also processes data under its own privacy terms. For questions about who processes your data, or anything else about your privacy, contact us at info@deep-ml.com.
Code, prompts and messages in problems and projects that call a model are sent to an AI model provider to produce a response. Do not include personal, confidential or sensitive information in them.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the Service, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.
Cookies and analytics
Sign-in keeps you signed in with browser storage set by our authentication provider; it is strictly necessary. Google Analytics measures how pages are used. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it runs without analytics cookies (Google's consent mode, with storage denied), so it only receives cookieless signals. We use no advertising cookies anywhere.
Google Analytics is provided by Google; how Google uses data from sites that use its services. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google's opt-out add-on. Blocking them does not stop the Service from working.
Global Privacy Control: we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing for a GPC signal to opt you out of; we treat it as a valid opt-out request regardless. We do not respond differently to Do Not Track signals.
How long we keep it
Account data and your work are kept while your account exists. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. We do not delete accounts automatically, including inactive ones. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymize its personal data, except records we must keep by law (such as payment records).
Your rights, wherever you live
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and its data, by writing to info@deep-ml.com from the email on your account. Because the account is shared, deleting it removes it from Deep-ML as well. We answer within the time the law where you live requires (usually one month, extendable in some places) and will not charge you or treat you differently for asking. We may need to confirm the request comes from you. You can cancel Premium at any time from Your Premium on the site.
European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland
Under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and the Swiss FADP, we rely on these legal bases: performing our contract with you (running your account, grading, billing); our legitimate interests (security, preventing abuse, improving the Service), balanced against your rights; your consent, where we ask for it; and legal obligations (tax and accounting records).
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. You can complain to your local data protection authority, though we would like the chance to resolve it first.
Your data is transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required, those transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum), or on a provider's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK and Swiss extensions.
California
Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, this section is our notice at collection. In the past 12 months we collected: identifiers (name, email, account id, IP address); commercial information (plan and purchase history); internet or other electronic network activity (usage data); and approximate geolocation. The sources, purposes and recipients are described above, and retention under How long we keep it.
We do not sell or share personal information, have not done so in the past 12 months, and do not knowingly sell or share the data of anyone under 16. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would give you a right to limit it.
You have the right to know what we collect, use and disclose; to delete it; to correct it; and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. You can use them by writing to info@deep-ml.com, or through an authorized agent with your signed permission.
Other US states
Residents of states with consumer privacy laws, including Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Virginia, have rights to confirm whether we process their data and to access, correct, delete and port it, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale and profiling. We do none of those three. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer or writing to info@deep-ml.com with "Appeal" in the subject; if the appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.
Canada, Brazil, India and elsewhere
Canada (PIPEDA): you can access and correct your data and withdraw consent, and complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Brazil (LGPD): you have the rights in Article 18, including confirmation, access, correction, anonymization, portability, deletion, information about sharing, and withdrawal of consent, and can petition the ANPD.
India (DPDP Act 2023): you can access a summary of your data, correct and erase it, and nominate someone to exercise your rights. Our grievance contact is info@deep-ml.com; you can also approach the Data Protection Board of India.
If you live somewhere else with a data protection law, the rights it gives you apply too: write to us and we will honour them.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, and access to it is limited to the people and providers who need it to run the Service. Submitted code runs in isolated sandboxes. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Children
The Service is not meant for children under 13, or under the minimum age for consenting to online services where you live (up to 16 in parts of the EEA) unless a parent or guardian has consented. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information; if you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date; for material changes we will also tell you on the site or by email.
